Presence of SMEs at World Travel Market

The three associations of small and medium enterprises namely AHRIM small and medium hotels, Association des Hotels de Charme and Association des Tour Operateurs were present this year at World Travel Market to promote their products and services.In line with MTPA’s policy to rope in small and medium operators, a breakfast meeting was organized by the MTPA to present the three associations to Tour Operators who are interested in this segment.
The breakfast seminar gave each association the opportunity to do a presentation and interact with the tour operators and the press who were also invited to the stand thereafter for individual meetings.
Positive feedback was received from the Tour Operators who saw this event as a good initiative from the MTPA in providing the right thrust to this sector and position them as a range of services that provide quality products and services.
Some 25 persons attended the meeting.
